With the NFL Honors now in the books, the focus shifts to the Super Bowl on Sunday between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles. Beginning in 2001, the NFL began allowing fans to also vote for the game’s MVP, but the fan vote only counts for 20%, with the media panel making up 80%. How the Voting System Works While the winner will be announced on Feb. 6, 2025, during the NFL Honors award show on FOX, the voting deadline was during the regular season. Therefore, Sunday’s Divisional Round matchup featuring Jackson and Allen — the top-two favorites for NFL MVP — will not have any impact on the race.
